My name is Neal Simmons, and CV INDI FILMS is my personal, independent filmmaking journey.

For years I worked with a large team, but I’ve stepped away from that world to go solo — not because I’m alone,
but because I want to create smaller, more focused, more meaningful projects with a few talented friends who believe in what I’m building.

CV INDI FILMS is shaped by my own experiences,
my inner battles, and the “monsters” we all create inside ourselves — fear, guilt, ego, regret, the things we avoid, the things that follow us.

My films turn those feelings into simple, symbolic stories.
Short. Raw. Honest.

Made to connect with people on a deeper level.

I’m influenced by creators who speak truth and explore the human mind —
Ren Gill, Inside No. 9, A24, Charlie Kaufman, Bo Burnham,
Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Ricky Gervais,
and Jim Carrey’s creative philosophy.

Their work reminds me to be brave, emotional,
and real in my storytelling.
