At Creative Vision Films, we bring people together to create meaningful films and video content without the high costs usually associated with production. Whether you're an aspiring filmmaker, a community-minded storyteller, or someone looking for a creative outlet, we provide a platform for you to develop your craft, build experience, and make an impact.

Here’s how we do it:

🎬 Collaborative Productions

We organise and lead a range of productions—from short films and community documentaries to promotional videos for local businesses and artistic experimental pieces. Every project is made by members, for members, with no one profiting and everyone contributing creatively. These projects offer hands-on opportunities to explore:

• Screenwriting

• Cinematography

• Acting

• Editing

• Sound recording and design

• Producing and crew coordination

• Set design and costuming

 

We rotate leadership roles to help everyone gain experience and confidence in multiple areas.

💡 Skill Development & Mentorship

We’re passionate about learning by doing. Whether you're completely new to film or looking to sharpen your skills, we foster an environment of peer learning and mentorship. Members can access:

• On-set training

• Creative workshops

• Guest sessions with industry professionals (when possible)

• Constructive feedback sessions

• Film screenings with group discussions

 

Our aim is to build real skills while building real connections.

🏙️ Community-Driven Projects

We actively partner with local organisations, charities, schools, and small businesses to produce free or low-cost content that supports their goals. This might include:

• Promotional films for independent shops and cafés

• Fundraising videos for nonprofits

• Documentaries highlighting social issues

• Coverage of local events and arts festivals

• Creative content to promote mental health, inclusion, and social awareness

 

These projects help members gain experience while making a real difference in the community.

We support member-led passion projects. Have an idea for a short film, web series, or visual poem? We help bring it to life by connecting you with cast, crew, and guidance. Our ethos is “if it matters to you, we want to help make it happen.”

📣 Public Screenings & Online Showcases

We celebrate our members’ work by hosting local screenings, entering films into festivals, and sharing projects across our social platforms and YouTube channel. Every film is a collaborative achievement, and we’re proud to put it out into the world.

We’re more than a film group—we’re a supportive creative network. Joining Creative Vision Films means becoming part of a non-judgmental, collaborative, and inspiring group of people who genuinely want to help each other succeed.
