Creative Vision Films is a nonprofit filmmaking organisation that brings together passionate creatives to collaborate on zero-profit productions. We focus on building skills, making meaningful films, and supporting local communities and small businesses through the power of storytelling.
🔹 Who can join?
Anyone! We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker, an aspiring actor, or someone who's simply curious about the process, there's a place for you at Creative Vision Films.
🔹 Do I need experience to join?
No experience? No problem. We believe in learning by doing. Many of our members joined with no previous film experience and have since grown into confident creatives through hands-on involvement, workshops, and team collaboration.
🔹 Is it really free to make films?
Yes—our projects are made without commercial profit, and everyone volunteers their time and skills. However, to help cover essential shared costs (like insurance, venue hire, props, and equipment maintenance), members contribute a small membership fee. This keeps everything fair, sustainable, and inclusive.
🔹 What does the membership fee cover?
Your membership fee is only £20 per day of filming and helps cover:

🔹 How often do you run projects?
We aim to run multiple film projects throughout the year, ranging from short scripted films and community videos to experimental pieces and seasonal promos. We also hold creative development sessions, meetings, and group screenings between shoots.
🔹 Can I pitch a film idea?
Absolutely! Members are encouraged to bring their own ideas to the group. If your project fits our mission and resources, we’ll do our best to help you bring it to life—with full support from fellow creatives.
🔹 How do I get involved?

🔹 Do you work with businesses or community groups?
Yes! We love partnering with small businesses, charities, schools, and local initiatives to produce promotional content, awareness films, or event coverage. If you're a community group looking for creative support, get in touch!—we’d love to help.
🔹 Can I use my work in a showreel or portfolio?
Definitely. One of our goals is to help members build experience and showreels. You’ll always be credited for your contribution and free to use completed films for your personal or professional portfolio (with proper acknowledgment).
🔹 Where are we based?
We are currently based in Crowborough, East Sussex, but we welcome collaborators from nearby areas and sometimes work on location in different towns or venues, depending on the project.
